1 year, 6 months and 1 day ago I landed in Korea with several suitcases in tow and my mom along for moral support. I use this blog to document the things I see and am learning for my friends and family. I wish I was better at it, more witty or more consistent in posting. . . but. . . I’m not. What you see is what you get- a little bit of Karin in Korea.

Hi Karen,
I’m a student studying fabric design at the University of Georgia and stumbled across your blog. Wow! The things you’re experiencing and documenting are fantastic. I was hoping that you might be able to lend me some advice, or even just share with me some of your experience with fibers that might lead me in a direction of a career. You see, I’m not really interested in designing patterns for industry although I love the material. I would much rather be traveling, learning, teaching… but still working with fibers. Any advice for a fellow Georgia student? How did you end up teaching fibers in Korea?
